Several companies having success with their romance series.
As we enter into the spring and summer months, the early part of the year has brought porn fans some outstanding releases of all kind thus far. In addition a number of these films have either been nominated or won awards from AVN, XBiz, XRCO, NightMoves and other organizations.
With an older, more mature fan and consumer base that are shopping either on line or in adult stores, many companies are now gearing towards that market with these more romantic, rather than “in your face” type productions. In addition, this mature consumer base knows what they want when it comes to porn. Many of these customers are new to watching porn and prefer films that have romance, that have humor that are tastefully done when it comes to the sex scenes. As the industry has always done, they see what is changing in the marketplace and several companies are doing their part to bring these types of films into the adult world and with good success.
As a reviewer of adult films I see every kind of film and review every kind, but as for the “romance” type films the companies are putting out, I see them as a nice change of pace, especially for those new to buying and watching porn. They are the perfect type of porn that will allow people to ease into watching porn. Once they get their feet wet, so to speak, with these romance type then they can broaden their appeal to many of the other types of porn available, depending on their own sexual likes, fantasies and needs.
